School Camps

School camps are important learning and socialising experiences and are part of the school curriculum for upper school classes.

You will be advised by the class teachers when a school camp is being planned.  Such advice will explain the nature of the camp, the time and venue involved, transport arrangements, clothing and other requirements.

Information on the camps will be made available to parents as soon as plans have been completed.

Since camps are integrated into the school programme, children who are prevented from attending can be disadvantaged. Any parent experiencing financial difficulty in regard to meeting camp costs is asked to contact the Principal.

Every year the Year 6 camp is held in Canberra and the Snowy Mountains. As a group, we organise fundraising activities to assist with the overall costs.  Families are encouraged to support these activities. Students leave on a Sunday and return the following Saturday. All snow gear is provided.  In the past, this trip has been a highlight for all students.
