"Holy Cross is a fantastic school, with experienced and dedicated teachers who prioritise learning within a safe and inclusive environment. Our children love going to school and we love watching them head off so happily each day. It is great to watch their educational development under the care of their classroom teachers. In our experience, the teachers are very attentive to the needs of each child in thier class and open to discuss those needs with us, as parents, to collaborate on ways to optimise the kids' school experience. The small class size makes this possible.
This school also fosters a caring community. Many parents give generously of their time to ensure school events are fun-filled and, in turn, support and strengthen the children's relationships with each other and the families at the school. The outside school hours program is a significant bonus. Run by an enthusiastic team, it is easy to get a place for before and after school care, as well as vacation care (which is so helpful for juggling work commitments). Our kids love going to before and after school care, and are often disappointed when we arrive too early to pick them up! "The thing I adore the most about the Holy Cross School and its community is the close-nit, small, caring feel where everyone is treated as an individual. I love the fact that ll the staff know my son's name, they take a keen interest in him, and you feel very much a part of the 'Holy Cross Family' when you cross the threshold into the school property.
