Principal's Message

Michelle 2020.jpegOn behalf of our school community, I would like to welcome you and thank you for taking the time to visit our website.

This website is designed to showcase our school to the wider community and provide information about ways in which we operate to meet the needs of our families. It is not intended to answer all of your questions about our school. Parents are encouraged to find out more by making an appointment with the Principal. I would be delighted to take you on a school tour to give thorough insight into our mission, as well as to view our beautiful school surrounds.

In 2022, Holy Cross celebrates 132 years of education in Lutwyche. As we embark on a new journey, join with us in this exciting phase to help shape the future of Holy Cross. I am proud to be part of this school community and our door is always open to new families in the surrounding area.

Today, Holy Cross, in strong partnership with the Parish Priest and parish community, proudly offers a quality inclusive Catholic Education. As the school has grown and changed, it has continued to build on the traditions established by the Sisters of Mercy. Their spirit of Hospitality, Mercy, Outreach, Hope and Joy is found within the school community and is further strengthened by the parents, staff and children living the school motto of " With God for Others".

We are looking forward to sharing with you the journey of your child's education. We hope that you and your child will be welcomed into our belonging community, where quality relationships abound and learners are provided with engaging and challenging learning experiences.

I look forward to meeting you soon.

Michelle McClafferty
